Platinum – The rarest of all

Platinum 950 powder is prized in jewellery applications for its high corrosion resistance, electrical conductivity efficiency and prestige. Platinum is almost twice as rare as gold, making it precious in its application.
Being a particularly resistant metal, platinum is the first choice for fine jewellery made by us in the IOMICO Atelier. It is a very rare material, much rarer than gold, and the extraction process involves 150 complex working steps. Its high melting temperature and hardness are a challenge when shaped.

Percentage of platinum: 95.0%
Percentage of ruthenium: 4.5%
Pt950 alloy, is perfect for everyday jewellery, a high purity alloy with exceptional resistance to corrosion, oxidation and tarnishing. These properties are reflected in the longevity and durability of pieces produced in the IOMICO workshop.
We source our raw materials exclusively from our suppliers and collaborators in the UK and France, world-class suppliers of precious metals and materials.

Origin of IOMICO diamonds
We operate to European ethical standards, the provenance of our diamonds and the way we do business with our suppliers and customers express passion, honesty and integrity.
The diamonds we work with are all conflict-free and ethically sourced from our trusted partners, certified RJC (Responsible Jewellery Council) members.
Jewellery with a centre stone greater than 0.30ct is supplied with one of the international GIA, HRD, IGI certificates attesting to the authenticity and specification of the gemstone.
