We started in 2019

The project was born in 2019 out of a passion for art, technology and production processes, with the desire to contribute to restoring the once high standard for quality and innovation in Romanian jewellery and with the aim of creating unique, innovative and high quality products.
The IOMICO story is a family business that starts, however, long before 2019, with a small jewellery shop opened in 2004, which over time has grown into a small network of jewellery and gemstone shops. Subsequently, our focus and efforts have been concentrated towards jewellery production.

IOMICO Workshop

Today Atelier IOMICO is a pioneer in the jewellery industry, being the only jewellery workshop in Romania and among the few in the world, specialized in 3D Printing with precious metals or Direct Metal Laser Sintering (DMLS).

The only jewellery workshop in Romania with DMLS technology for direct 3D printing in precious metal.

The combination of the 3D environment, DMLS technology and the skilful hand of the artisan jewellers brings the jewellery designed in the IOMICO workshop to the highest quality standard. The layer-on-layer production process provides a 99.9% density, the finishing equipment an unmistakable lustre, and the master jeweller specialised in making any piece a collector’s jewel and a heirloom for generations.

Caring for the environment is one of our core values. Using the latest technologies for jewellery production, the whole technological process in the IOMICO workshop is much more environmentally friendly compared to conventional methods.
